About Tesla
Tesla designs and sells electric cars, including the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and the Cybertruck, and builds them in its own plants in the US, China and Germany. A second business sells stationary battery storage, such as Powerwall for homes and Megapack for utilities, along with solar products. Further revenue comes from services such as the Supercharger network, insurance and used vehicles. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in Austin, Texas.
