Corrections
This list covers errors that were visible on the site and have since been fixed: the date of the correction, the affected pages and what changed. Minor display issues that did not affect a figure are not listed. How the numbers are produced and checked is described in the methodology. Error reports go to mail@alysly.com.
| Date | Affected | What was corrected |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 9, 2026 | Stock pages, financials (80 stocks) | For companies with a non-calendar fiscal year, return on equity divided the annual result by the equity of a later quarter. Equity, total assets and cash now come from the balance sheet date at the end of the same fiscal year; if that date is missing, the field stays empty. |
| Oct 5, 2026 | Crypto pages | The value labeled “market cap rank” was the rank by 24-hour trading volume, in the text and in the structured data. The page now shows the rank by market capitalization. |
| Oct 5, 2026 | Stock pages, financials | Some tables showed “−0”, empty fiscal years or the wrong period end when balance sheet and income figures came from different dates. |
| Oct 4, 2026 | Stock pages and ETF breakdowns | Units of other funds were listed as stocks. That created four stock pages per language, and the country and sector breakdown of two funds showed about 2.4% “Irish financials”. Fund units are filtered out since then. |
| Oct 4, 2026 | Stock pages, financials | For non-calendar fiscal years, the year label was off by one. The table now shows the actual period end. |
| Oct 4, 2026 | Structured data on several page types | Some values in the structured data contained formatting placeholders instead of numbers. They are replaced, and a build check now blocks new ones. |
| Oct 1, 2026 | All five studies | For indices and commodities, the studies used futures series with roll costs deducted. Returns came out too low, for example 199.7% instead of 227.8% for the S&P 500. All studies are recalculated on actual closing prices. |
| Oct 1, 2026 | Bitcoin study | After the price series was extended, volatility, drawdown and comparison breadth covered 2017 to 2026 instead of the study period starting July 11, 2024. The figures again cover the stated period. |
| Oct 1, 2026 | Pokémon card study | The methods box and the text gave different figures (4,195 vs. 4,159 auction sales) because sales reported later flowed into the methods box. The cutoff date now limits the reporting date as well. |
| Sep 26, 2026 | Stock pages (113 stocks) | Returns were calculated across data gaps: for some stocks, “3 months” covered only two weeks of prices. Gaps are now backfilled and reported by the data gate. |
| Sep 26, 2026 | Xerox stock page (XRX) | A faulty back-adjustment in the raw data produced a one-day jump of +35%. The series is corrected. |
| Sep 16, 2026 | Stock pages with ambiguous tickers | Financials and insider filings of a different company appeared under the same ticker, for example ALV (Allianz and Autoliv). Figures are now used only when the company identity matches. |
