About Alysly

Alysly is an independent investment intelligence site. It pulls market data, stock and ETF profiles, macro indicators and daily market reports together in one place, so that long-term investors can look things up and compare them quickly — free of charge, without a login, and without a sales pitch attached.

Who is behind Alysly

Alysly is founded and run by Alexander Bock. Alexander holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and the GIAC certifications GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) and GRID (GIAC Response and Industrial Defense).

His professional career has run along three lines that also shape this site: artificial intelligence — building and operating data and AI systems, which is what makes it possible for a small site to process thousands of instruments daily; security — years of work in cyber security and the defence of industrial control systems, a field in which sources, evidence and verifiability count for more than a confident-sounding claim; and finance and investing — the analysis of markets, portfolios and long-term investment strategies, which is where the questions behind Alysly come from.

That combination is the reason this site looks the way it does: it is written by someone who builds the data pipelines and reads the numbers, not by a marketing department.

How Alysly works

Prices, fundamentals and macro series come from market data providers and from public sources such as central banks and statistical offices. The data is updated automatically every trading day; the date each figure refers to is shown on the page itself.

Analysis and presentation of the financial information are partly AI-assisted — market reports, summaries and chart commentary are generated automatically from the same underlying data and reviewed editorially. This is stated in the footer of every page, and it is stated here as well, because readers should know how a text came about before they act on it.

Alysly is financed through advertising and affiliate links. Those links never change which instruments are listed, how they are ranked, or what the figures say.
