About Alysly

Alysly is an independent investment analysis platform built for long-term investors. It brings together market data, stock and ETF profiles, macroeconomic indicators and daily market reports in one place. Everything there can be looked up, compared and put into context, free of charge, without a login and without a sales pitch.

Who is behind Alysly

Alysly is founded and run by Alexander Bock, who works on it as founder and data analyst. Alexander holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and two GIAC certifications: GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) and GRID (GIAC Response and Industrial Defense).

His career spans three areas that directly shape this site:

• Artificial intelligence: building and operating data and AI systems. This is what enables a small, independent site to process thousands of instruments every day with consistent quality.
• Cyber security: years of work defending industrial control systems, where sources, evidence and verifiability matter more than confident-sounding claims. That mindset shapes how data is collected, checked and presented here.
• Finance and investing: analyzing markets, portfolios and long-term investment strategies. These are the questions Alysly is designed to answer.

That combination is why the site looks and reads the way it does. It is written by someone who builds the data pipelines and reads the numbers, not by a marketing department. Alexander Bock is responsible for all content. Stock and ETF pages state the date of their figures, and studies state their cut-off date and data basis. Where the data comes from and how it is calculated is described in the methodology.

How Alysly works

Prices, fund data, fundamentals and macroeconomic time series come from commercial providers and from public sources such as central banks, statistical offices and the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The data is updated automatically every trading day, and the reference date of the figures is shown on each page.

Analysis and presentation of the financial information are partly AI-assisted. Market reports, summaries and chart commentary are generated automatically from the same underlying data. The calculation rules and text templates are reviewed by hand, not every single report. Before each release, the pipeline automatically checks the data for completeness, freshness and deviations from independent sources, and it stops the release if it finds errors. This is stated in the footer of every page and here as well, because readers should know how a text came about before they use it.

Alysly is financed through advertising and affiliate links. Those links never change which instruments are listed, how they are ranked, or what the figures say. Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships.

What Alysly is (and is not)

Alysly is a data-driven research and information platform. It does more than pull raw data: it structures, analyzes and explains that data so long-term investors can form their own view. All content is general financial information and research material for readers' own decisions.

All data is provided without guarantee. Errors in the underlying data or in its processing cannot be ruled out. Reports of errors are welcome via the contact details in the imprint, and corrections are made on the live pages. Later changes to data points that were already published are logged internally with their old and new value; there is currently no public list of corrections.
