US ETFs
The ETFs on this page are set up in the United States and trade on US exchanges. They were picked by search interest, not by quality: SPY, QQQ and VOO are among the most searched funds of all.
Retail investors in the EU cannot buy most of them directly. Since 2018 the PRIIPs regulation has required a key information document before a sale, and US fund companies generally do not produce one for their ETFs. Many indexes also have UCITS ETFs that are authorized in Europe. Where our coverage includes such funds, they are listed on the fund’s page.
Holdings come from the reports US funds file with the Securities and Exchange Commission each quarter (Form N-PORT). They are published about two months after the reporting date, so they are older than the prices. Three of the funds are leveraged and aim for three times or minus three times a daily return. GLD holds no securities; it holds physical gold.
